Spooktacular Newsletter 2012
Welcome to October’s ‘Spooktacular Newsletter’
Its close to midnight and something evil’s lurking in the dark
Under the moonlight, you see a sight that almost stops your heart
You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it
You start to freeze as horror looks you right between the eyes
On October 31st , we celebrate Halloween, its thought to be the one night of the year when ghost, witches, and fairies are especially active.
My top silly three superstitions are:
If you hear footsteps behind you on Halloween Night – Don’t look back! It may be the dead following you and if you do turn around it means you will soon join the dead! – Ooooooo.
I say don’t look back anger, it may be Liam Gallagher !
If a bat flies around a house three times, it’s a death omen!
Ermm… Its really a ‘Bat out of Hell’’
A person born on Halloween can see and talk to spirits!
Providing you drink lots of alcohol and talk to the bottle !
Berck Limited would like to welcome Rikki Power to the family. We wish him all the very best in his career.
After a challenging and difficult couple of months we now find ourselves in a position where business seems to be improving albeit very slowly.
Through our persistence and hard work we have been awarded several new contacts from Jaguar Land Rover. To cope with the technical demands we have invested in a new CAD package which will improve our working relationship with our clients and also increase the chances of additional business being placed our way.
Thank you again for all your ongoing efforts and valuable support.

St Patrick’s Day is near so here are some things you didn’t know:
The actual colour of St. Patrick is blue. Green became associated with St. Patrick's Day during the 19th century. Green, in Irish legends, was worn by fairies and immortals, and also by people to encourage their crops to grow.
The Irish flag is green, white and orange. The green symbolizes the people of the south, and orange, the people of the north. White represents the peace that brings them together as a nation.
Legend says that each leaf of clover means something: the first is for hope, the second for faith, the third for love and the fourth for luck.
‘Happy St Patrick’s Day’ to all our Irish Customers and Suppliers !

Valentine Day Facts! Did you know –
In the Middle Ages, young men and women drew names from a bowl to see who would be their Valentine. They would wear this name pinned onto their sleeves for one week for everyone to see. This was the origin of the expression "to wear your heart on your sleeve."
Physicians of the 1800's commonly advised their patients to eat chocolate to calm their pining for lost love.
Girls of medieval times ate bizarre foods on St. Valentine's Day to make them dream of their future spouse.
January was a very busy month and February and beyond seen to be heading the same way, again we have been fortunate enough to have been awarded several new projects from new and existing customers. Schedules and forecasts remain steady although some increases would be very welcome. We can assure you that we are monitoring the situation carefully and making sure we keep close contact with our customers. Thank you for your terrific support it is very much appreciated.
JANUARY 2012 NEWSLETTER
Happy New Year!
I trust everyone had a fantastic Christmas break and hope Santa Claus didn’t disappoint you and if he did I'm sure he will make up for it next December.
2012 looks to be a very exciting and busy year not only have we the Olympics to look forward to but we also have the 'End of the World' to enter into our diaries which according to the Mayans will occur on the 21st of December 2012. That’s an event not to be missed!
On a more cheerful note late last year we were lucky enough to secure projects for new and existing customers. We have been working hard on agreeing manufacturing contracts with several of our biggest customers, their enthusiasm regarding this only goes to prove how delighted they are with our performance. This couldn’t have been possible without your expert assistance and knowledge, so thank you and well done!
All the very best wishes for 2012 and remember as a team we can achieve anything!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Seasonal Greetings to everyone! Its that time of year when we all moan about putting on the pounds while we have a fistful of nuts in one hand and 3 sausage rolls in our other only a few hours after devouring a meal that could satisfy a whole army!
Hopefully by the time you read this all your preparations are done. The cards are written and delivered, the presents are lovingly wrapped and labeled and placed carefully under the tree. Or if you are like me you leave it all until the last shopping day and basically just grab the first item closest to the shop door.
The Directors would like to thank you for all your hard work and support over the last 12 months. We have been extremely busy in securing new projects and thankfully the customer orders and schedules appear to be increasing once again. This year we have taken many orders for new tooling and new projects that wouldn’t have been possible without your expertise, knowledge and patience so please accept our sincere thanks.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year. We hope all your wishes come true!
See you in 2012!
WIRING HARNESSES AND HARNESS COMPONENTS
A cable harness, also known as a wire harness, cable assembly, wiring assembly or wiring loom, is a string of cables and/or wires which transmit informational signals or operating currents (energy). The cables are bound together by clamps, cable ties, cable lacing, sleeves, electrical tape, conduit, a weave of extruded string, or a combination thereof.
Each electric wire in a wiring harness plays a different role, such as taking electric power from power supplies, sending sensor signals, and communicating operational information.
Wiring harnesses are important parts, comparable to nerves or blood vessels in the human body, in supporting the operational foundation of cars or equipment.
